DivaFabrics.com was started as the result of a successful eBay business selling fabrics under the name of Diva Quilt Works. Although we still sell some of our fabrics on eBay, our major business and focus is DivaFabrics.com.

 

Inventory grows larger daily, with many wonderful fabrics, books and supplies for quilters, crafters and those who just love to sew. Diva Fabrics even has handmade quilts for sale!

 

"Diva" is a result of my having been a professional opera singer for over 20 years, predominately with the San Francisco Opera. (You can purchase my CD of Great American Standard love songs (not opera) for a really great price on our "Gift" page.) The interest in "Fabrics" goes much farther back.  As a young person I used to love sewing my own clothes. When I had a family I found myself sewing for my husband, Michael (shown below) and our 4 children, making clothes, costumes and quilts as well as home decor. This grew into a love of the many possibilities afforded by the wonderful fabrics now available. Diva Fabrics seemed the perfect way to share my love of fabrics with other fabric fanatics!

As we grow, we are offering gift items, books, patterns and some notions, as well as some different, unusual fabrics you might not find in your local store.
